Auto Designator

Auto Designator automatically adjust the position, orientation and font size of each components' reference designators. It  improves the appearance of your PCB, making it ready for creating the silk screen for PCB fabrication or the PCB assembly drawing.

It has 2 working modes: as a standalone application or as an Altium script. The designator placement also have 2 placement modes: 

• Place for silkscreen:  The designators are placed outside of the outline of components.

• Place for assembly:    The designators are placed inside of the outline of components.

Auto Designator currently supports Altium Designer Winter09/Summer08, Altium Designer 6.x,  Altium DXP and Protel 99SE.
